South Asian American Democratic Caucus (SAADeC) is honoring U.S Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi at a felicitation function to be held on December 2nd, 2017 in Davie, Florida. Congressman Krishnamoorthi was elected to represent Illinois’ 8th Congressional District on November 8, 2016, and is serving his first term in the United States Congress now.
Rep. Krishnamoorthi, son of Indian Immigrants, grew up in Illinois and has dedicated his life to serving the community and fighting for our most vulnerable citizens. He is an ardent advocate for protecting Social Security and Medicare, making higher education more affordable, and bolstering small businesses.
